By applying the three-stage transformative process of The Kolo: Women’s Cross Cultural Collaboration, the Little Haiti Community Cats Mission serves to inform, intensify and inspire the local community to ever better care for and humanely intervene on the community cat overpopulation using non-killing alternatives, like the TNR method and responsible pet adoption.
Our mission is to:
- humanely and proactively reduce the free-roaming cat population in the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami, FL and the greater Miami-Dade county area
- eliminate the barriers that free-roaming cat caretakers encounter with spaying and neutering colony cats
- inform the community on the merits and methods of Trap/Neuter-Vaccinate/Return practice
